Google along with Asus will soon launch their 7 inch tablet probably next month. The tablet will come loaded with Tegra 3 processor, computing speed unknown, but it will be the pricing that will be the main highlight. The Asus Google tablet could well be priced under Rs. 12,000.

We do not know the exact specifications and the price is just a speculation. But yes Asus and Google are very much interested in bringing the price factor to as low as possible. They had announced their plans to launch a tablet before, which got delayed for some reasons.

We will have to wait and see what Google / Asus comes up with. Pricing will be an important factor. We are not sure if the tab will be launched worldwide or in selected countries. Samsung’s P3100 has already selling in India and for now looks like the best high end – low cost tablet for under Rs. 20,000.

There are quite a few cheap tabs available in India all of which are made in China. Micromax Funbook turned out to be the most popular tab. Well the big players are also trying to get hold of this low cost tablet segment and probably we might see some results soon.
