Gogi sir, can you please review XT911 version. I like all your reviews, as you cover most of the areas which help us to understand the gadget better.
I wonder, I don’t find any one reviewing Flipkart’s Tablets other than first impressions, which are barely enough to consider to purchase decision. Not sure why!! 🙁
I have Digiplip Pro XT712.
Excellent specs and features for the price! The only cons are with the audio (can be set right after rooting) and the erratic touchscreen functionality.
Unfortunately, when experimenting with the boot animation, I lost the original boot animation file. If any owner of this tablet who has rooted the device could send me the original boot animation file I would really appreciate it.
I used “Kingo Android Root” to root my Digiflip Pro XT 712 tablet – it was a really simple rooting process with this program. Note that rooting voids your warranty.
If you can access root directory, could you please send the original boot animation file to my gmail email id “techtrailer”
I require this as I want to contact customer support regarding a small problem with the touchscreen.
Thanks!
Wow, these are seriously good specs. The only thing I don’t like is that the expandable storage is only 32 gb. It should have been 64 gb in this day and age. Battery performance will remain a concern. As will possible heating up because of a powerful processor and an unbranded cooling arrangement and peripheral design. But on paper, this looks good. I might end up buying the XT901 if the Mipad does not show up on time.
XT901/XT911 comes with FHD 1920*1200 resolution (some sites quote this resolution).Correct me if I’m wrong.
Flipkart should opt for a simple name for the tablet series.Samsung will feel the heat. Their fortress is under serious threat.
Gogi g, i’ve a query regarding display.
If i play a 360pixel video on a hd screen resolution 720p phone then does its quality would be better or it would get pixelated as compare to 854x480p phone…?
In simple sense, Does more ppi in a phone will help for better quality for small resolution video or poor.?
Please clear my doubt….
There are two factors here. On the one hand, when you watch both high-res and low res videos on the same screen, the high-res screen will show a bigger difference making you feel that the low-res video looks really bad because you notice the pixels more, whereas on a lower resolution screen, you do not notice as much because even high-res videos don’t look all that great.
The second factor is that how well a video looks depends less on its resolution in the final clip you’re watching but the resolution in which the video was recorded(as well as other recording parameters) If a video is shot in high-res and then converted professionally to a lower res and size, then it will still look very good. On the other hand, if the initial recording is poor or the conversion done by amateurs, even a high-res video will show blurry edges, lazy or scrambled pixels etc.
A third factor is that by adjusting playback settings, changing the colour scheme(RGB 16 to RGB 32 or YUV etc), disabling or enabling hardware acceleration, deblocking etc we can greatly diminish the problem.
For book reading, a higher res is extremely useful, especially in night mode, as eye-strain is greatly reduced. And high-res vidoes look much better on a high-res screen. So it is better to opt for a higher res screen from the point of view of screen performance. For battery and gaming a lower resolution wiIl be preferable.
