Taiwanese Manufacturer Asus will roll out series of ZenFone smartphones in India next month on July 9th 2014. Asus will be launching range of handsets with 4 inch to 6 inch screens. The pricing details will be revealed on the launch day.

Asus will be launching handsets with 4 inch, 4.5 inch, 5 inch and 6 inch screen. All of these handsets were unveiled at CES and the specifications are already known. Asus ZenFone 4 is with a 4 inch screen with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. This will be the cheapest smartphone in the lot. It houses Intel ATOM Z2520 1.2GHz dual core processor running KitKat OS with 1GB RAM, 4GB/8GB storage and micro SD support.

The ZenFone 4 also comes with 8MP rear AF camera and VGA front camera. The ZenFone 4.5 is upgraded ZenFone 4 with exactly same features but with a 4.5 inch screen and FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels). It comes with 1200 mAh battery.

The Asus ZenFone 5 is available in two variants with dual core Intel ATOM Z2580 (2GHz) or ATOM Z2560 (1.6GHz) processor. It sports a 5 inch screen with corning gorilla glass 3 protection supporting resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. This is a dual SIM handset running KitKat with optional 2GB RAM / 16GB storage or 1GB RAM / 8GB storage.

Asus zenfone range to launch in India on 9th July

This handset comes with 8MP rear AF camera with LED support and can record 1080p videos. There is a front camera too of 2MP resolution. The ZenFone 5 comes with a 2110 mAh battery.

The Asus ZenFone 6 comes powered by dual core processor clocked at 2GHz (Intel ATOM Z2580) running KitKat with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU. This one comes with optional 1GB or 2GB RAM and optional 8, 16 or 32GB storage. Micro SD card of up to 64GB is supported.

There is 13MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. Screen is 6 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and protected via corning gorilla glass 3. This dual SIM handset supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. ZenFone 6 houses a 3300 mAh non-removable battery.

We can expect the pricing to be under Rs. 20,000. These handsets will be launched in India on 9th of July next month.
