Asus Zenfone AR will hit the Indian stores this July, Asus has already confirmed the date of launch. The Zenfone AR is unveiling on 13th of July 2017. This handset is powered by SD 821 and the key highlight is that this smartphone is compatible with Daydream VR and Tango AR.

What is Tango?

Tango is a computer vision software from Google with set of sensor that enables AR (Augmented reality). With Tango users will be able to view 3D models that can even move around and one can even see them from different angles.

Tango makes use of cameras / sensors to detect objects in real time. So basically you can see the real world and the virtual world together, with motion tracking you can even move the phone / shift objects.

What is Daydream?

Daydream allows users to explore new worlds via Fantastic Beasts and Google Street View. This is a doorway to a new world and for this to work your handset should be Daydream ready. This is Google’s platform for VR – virtual reality.

This handset as mentioned is Snapdragon 821 quad core powered, sails on Android Nougat with 6GB/8GB RAM and optional 32/64/128/256 GB ROM. It is a hybrid dual SIM handset sporting a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen protected with gorilla glass 4 and supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

Asus Zenfone VR coming in India

There is 23MP camera on the back using IMX318 sensor from SONY with f/2.0 aperture, OIS, laser AF, EIS and front camera is 8MP shooter. Also included is a finger print sensor, mono 5 magnet speaker, NXP Smart AMP Tech, USB Type C port, BT, GPS, WiFi and 4G with VoLTE support. A 3300 mAh battery powers this handset – QC 3.0 is supported.
