ZTE has launched a low cost MediaTek quad core powered smartphone with finger print scanner called the ZTE Blade A1 for a price tag of RMB 599 that comes to approx ₹6200. This handset has been launched in China and will be available from 11th December 2015.

ZTE Blade A1 is using the MediaTek MT6735 quad core processor (64 Bit) clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with Mali T720 GPU. This smartphone sports a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Android 5.1 is running with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 128GB micro SD card support. This is a dual SIM handset (SIM Slot + Hybrid slot). A 13MP camera is packed on the rear with LED flash and a 8MP camera on the front.

Weight with battery is 137 grams and handset is 8.9mm thick. Additional features are 4G, 3G, 2G, finger print scanner, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. The ZTE Blade A1 gets power from a 2800 mAh battery and will go on sale in China soon for RMB 599.
