The dual Screen YotaPhone launched in India with a price tag of over Rs. 20,000 and within few months the price dropped to Rs. 12,999 and now the price further reduced to Rs. 9,999 (for limited period only). It looks good however it is powered by dual core processor and running Jelly Bean OS.

This YotaPhone C9660 handset is using qualcomm snapdragon 400 dual core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It is still running Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and there is no official word if the handset will get further updates. There is 32GB internal storage and 2GB RAM.

The unique part is the dual screen – a 4.3 inch LCD HD IPS on the front with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and an always-on 4.3 inch electronic paper display supporting 640 x 360 pixels resolution. This is a single SIM handset with 3G support. The rear camera is of 13MP resolution and can shoot full HD videos. Front camera is 1MP resolution.

Weigh is about 146 grams (with battery) and it is 9.99 mm thick. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This YotaPhone gets power from a 1800 mAh battery.

Considering the specifications and the unique features the price looks quite tempting.
