XOLO will soon launch a windows 8 powered tab called the XOLO Win. XOLO has now partnered with AMD to bring forth their first AMD – Windows powered device. This tablet houses the AMD A4 1200 dual core APU (CPU+GPU on single silicon).

XOLO Win sports a 10.1 inch LED capacitive screen with 1366×768 pixels resolution. It runs on Windows 8 OS with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage (EMMC). The tab houses a 2MP camera on the rear and 1MP on the front.

AMD 1GHz (dual core) Temash Generation coupled with AMD Radeon HD 8180G. Key features are dual speakers (1.5W + 1.5W), Wi-Fi, G-Sensor and Bluetooth 4.0.  The 3550 mAh built-in battery gives usage time of up to 7 hours.

The pricing details are not yet revealed. XOLO Win is expected to hit the store by end of January 2014. Micromax had also showcased their dual boot tablet that can run both Android as well as Windows 8.1 OS. Seems like many tablet manufacturers are bringing out windows powered devices. Well let’s hope the price is set just right.
