Another KitKat powered handset the XOLO Q500S IPS will hit the stores soon for Rs. 5,999. This handset is powered by quad core processor MTK6582M running Android 4.4.2 out of the box. The Q500S IPS is pretty slim (8.98mm thick) and light weight.

XOLO has launched this Q500S IPS handset with a decent price tag. It is using the 1.3GHz quad core processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU clocked at 416MHz. This is a dual SIM handset that sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA (800×480 pixels) resolution. The screen is IPS with 2 point multi touch support.

The camera on the rear is 5MP however it is fixed focus with LED flash support. The Q500S IPS comes with accelerometer, proximity and light sensors. 1080p video recording is supported. Handset has got premium look and available in different colour options.

Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS with A-GPS support. There is 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and 32GB external card support. The 1500 mAh battery that the Q500S IPS houses can be fully charged in 2.4 hours and gives a talk time of up to 7 hours on 3G networks. This handset will be competing with Unite 2 and Iris X1 to name a few.
