Inside the Hood
The Q2500 houses MediaTek’s MTK 6582 quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU clocked at 500Mhz. The handset runs on Android 4.2 and entitled for the Android 4.4 KitKat update.

The phablet worked lag free, performance is good and benchmark score are pretty good. Though there was some issue with buttons becoming unresponsive when playing games probably because of some issue with the single dedicated button / on screen buttons.

Gaming
Modern Combat 4 and Asphalt 8 games got installed on the external storage. Game play is smooth, however at times the on screen buttons became unresponsive. The issue is probably cause by the single dedicated touch button. If the button becomes unresponsive especially when playing games, just tap the dedicated button and the gaming button will become responsive again. Hopefully XOLO will fix the issue with the next OS update.

Others
OTA (Over the Air) updates are supported. Sound is loud and clear. 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS worked well.

3000 mAh Battery
There is built in 3000 mAh battery. The company claims a talk time of up to 15 hours on 3G and 40 hours on 2G networks. I used the handset for about 29 minutes running benchmark apps and playing the MC4 / Asphalt 8 for few minutes. The battery dropped by 8 percent. You can use heavy applications / play games for almost 4 to 6 hours continuously on a full battery charge.
