Google has launched two new Chromebooks, the XOLO Chromebook and Nexian Air Chromebook. These Chromebook’s price in India is Rs. 12,999. Both these devices are loaded with same specifications and price – the only difference is the branding XOLO / Nexian Air.
XOLO Chromebook & Nexian Air Chromebook is powered by 1.8GHz quad core (cortex A17) processor (Rockchip RK3288) coupled with Mali T764 GPU. TFT screen is of size 11.6 inches supporting 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. Weight with battery is 1.5Kg.
There is 2GB RAM – DDR3L and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB. Of the 16 GB users will get about 10 GB free spaces. 100 GB Google cloud storage will also be available for 2 years for free. There is micro SD card slot to add additional storage space. This device includes the chrome keyboard with touch-pad. A 1MP camera (Webcam) is packed on the front. These Chromebooks are running Chrome Operating System that needs net access most of the time, however you can work offline if required.
Other features are built in Wi-Fi, 2x USB 2.0 port, 1x HDMI port, built in speaker, Bluetooth 4.0 and microphone / headphone jack. The Chromebooks get power from a 4200 mAh battery that as per the company will deliver up to 10 hours of mixed usage time.
XOLO Chromebook will get listed on Snapdeal for Rs. 12,999 and Nexian Air ChromeBook is already available on Amazon for the same price of Rs. 12,999.
Go for micromax laptab where we can connect ext hdd also
On an earlier version of chrome book by Acer, you could replace the chrome OS with Linux which would provide much better usability to the user.
Chrome Book with just a browser is other wise junk!

Why do you think every laptop like devices need windows installed on it, this uses an Rockchip chipset and windows is only designed to run on Snapdragon and Intel chipsets and sorry no windows for you!
You can install Ubuntu if you want.
I’d rather buy mi tab in that price.
Can you connect a 1 TB external hard disc to your mi tab??
