Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Leaked, specifications unveiled

The next handset in the Note Series by Xiaomi will be called the Redmi Note 5 and it will come with different specs. As per the leaked info the Note 5 will be Snapdragon 630 / 636 powered – two variants.

Xiaomi India it seems will be launching  a new handset in February, no official confirmation yet but it could be this one the Redmi Note 5. Redmi Note 4 has been in the market for long and a replacement is due.

As per the leak the Redmi Note 5 will be different from the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus that were launched in China. Though the Note 5 will come with a 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Another thing that the leak points out to, is the dual cameras  – yes Redmi Note 5 will come with 16MP + 5MP dual cameras.

It will run MIUI 9 and will house a 4100 mAh battery with fast charging support. There will be two variants one with Snapdragon 630 and the other with Snapdragon 636. RAM / ROM could be 3/4 and 32 / 64 GB.

We will have to wait for the official word.
