The Mi Generation tweet (yesterday) was about the Redmi Note 3 that is going to be launched in India pretty soon. In fact as of now Xiaomi is looking for 100 explorers to check out the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. You can be a part of this Mi Generation (by Jan 31st 2016).
Since the event will go on until the end of January, it is clear that the handset may get launched probably next month. Redmi Note 3 is MediaTek Helio X10 Octa Core processor (MT6795) with PowerVR G6200. This is also the first handset that Xiaomi will be launching with MediaTek chipset especially after the Xiaomi – Ericsson issue.
The Redmi Note 3 comes with optional 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM. Screen is 5.5 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. MIUI 7 runs out of the box. This smartphone also comes with 13MP primary camera and 5MP front camera.
Key features are 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, finger print scanner and Infrared port. Note 3 gets power from a 4000 mAh non-removable battery.
We will have to wait and see when the company will launch this handset in India and what they will price it at.
Still no body is talking about VoLTE and 4G+ Network on it most rarest thing you’ll ever see on budget phone
Exactly. It’s a rare and upcoming feature. But how many carriers in India support that?
shashank bhai yhaan 2g network pe internet itna mehenga hua pada hai aur tum VOLTE ki baatein kar rahe ho. Shayad tum aasaani se afford kar sakte ho. By the way m using high speed internet only on Connect wifi.
looks similar to the look of Meizu M2
Those who have used xiaomi, will love this news. Xiaomi always rocks with super build quality and performance. I have not seen any other brand in same price category have better build phone.
Hope they launch 3GB/32GB model too. Cz I think it’s doesn’t have expandable memory. If they launch only 2gb/16gb then its quite bad
Which is faster sd 650 or top end helio x10 turbo,im concern about chipset.
This is clearly Xiaomi’s reply to lenovo K4 Note. It seems Xiaomi does not want lenovo this time to capture market like it did with K3 note last year.
It also clearly competes with letv le 1s
Mr. Gogi, any word about MI TV 3 Launch in India..??
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with Snapdragon 650
Hi Gogi and friends,
This is the Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon Version. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650.
Check this http://en.miui.com/thread-208881-1-1.html
Yes, this will launch here next month
If its snapdragon version with 650 then its gonna rock. But if its 616 then it will be a flop like mi4i and 16 mp camera seems interesting
it’s launched with SD650 for the price of RMB 999 for 16GB
one more good news is is 16MP back camera which replace the 13MP one.
Welcome move by xiaomi India. It is better to launch it early.
Wooh I thought its redmi 3. Is note 3 have metal build as I am much interested in redmi as metal and beefy battery. Can you review 1.
No Gogi bro i don’t think they r going to launched note 3 with X10 chipset, but i am pretty sure they r launching it with SD808 (which pass The TENAA) & the base for my this logic is there own statement where they saying “we prepared 100 new Redmi Note 3 for Indian Mi fans on the same day when China launched the new Redmi Note 3”
Hmmm well lets see.
Be ready for lenovo k5 note too, its exact replica of note 3 with msd slot.
No way its just a foul play by MI with fans. Going to buy letv 1S if it ever released.
This is a good news for the consumers and a tight slap on the face of critics who says Xiaomi dump there stocks in India.
A tight slap must be given to you…After dumping all the stocks till now , they launched it here. No mi router, no mi tv. And you are too happy just for 1 product…they make sure the prime is cleared and then will launch this as it wont surely sell is this one is launched.
Don’t knw y ur getting offensive against me. Any tech company needs to be on time with other competitors otherwise they will lose their market share and in a way consumers will have more choice at a competitive price… Am sure Xiaomi will not neglect indian market as its a largest market after china…Don’t forget bro after Xiaomi entered the indian market other company’s followed suit and the price and specs war started otherwise Samsung will still be selling over pricing mobile phones to us.
Exactly. Xiaomi has been dumping their unsold lot here in india and since their sales figures have declined, they are forced for such kind of move.
Right nikhil, amole.. xiaomi were dumping unsold products in India, now they were stiff competitions from big players like lenovo, letv…etc. Looking for some big players to launch 4k tv since xiaomi made us a fool…
If xiaomi is selling (dumping) unsold products in India why indians are buying xiaomi products?? Its their products so its their wish what they want to sell here and what they don’t want to simple.
@Amole: I’m using MI3 since 2 years from now. I haven’t faced a single issue in the phone yet. I wonder how the F*** do you call this dumping ground when they are giving you stuff that works pretty well.
For 2015 xiaomi expected to sell almost 100 million phones globally but at the end of that year they revised their target to 80 million phones and nobody reported that but xiaomi’s biggest rival huewei another Chinese legendary smartphone maker crossed 100 million limit easily with their well received honor sub brand in India and with their own flagships in china and other western markets(ascend mate series), now in china xiaomi is not the top smartphone seller or manufacturer, they are 2nd after huewei and even the poor speced redmi note launched in India as a last trick couldn’t helped mi to boost its sales
So now they are launching their great products in India with permitted processors and the exclusive patent sharing agreement with qualcoom will help xiaomi to launch more and more products in future in India as well as globally. They tried to dump their unsold old items by changing its name but Indian mi fans gave correct answer to that, check amazon reviews for redmi note…
Did I say their quality is bad? Dude, I said they are selling unsold phones here in india. Mind your words.
Excited. . I think the craze will be like xiaomi mi3
