Xiaomi announced the Mi 6X in China and this handset is priced at (starts from) 1599 RMB that comes to Rs. 16,900 approx. Xiaomi Mi 6X is running Android Oreo out of the box, powered by Snapdragon 660 8 core processor and using 5.99 inch FHD+ screen.

Xiaomi Mi 6X Specifications

The Mi 6X as mentioned is using the qualcomm snapdragon 660 octa core processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. This handset features a 5.99 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass and playing with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution.

There is 4GB and 6GB RAM options and 64GB, 128GB ROM options. MIUI based on Android Oreo runs out of the box. Handset weight is 168 grams and thickness is 7.3mm. Also included finger print sensor and IR blaster.

On the front there is a 20MP camera using SONY IMX376 sensor with soft LED flash and on the rear there is 12MP f/1.75 SONY IMX486 + 20MP f/1.75 SONY IMX376 sensor with LED flash support. So dual cameras on the rear.

Other features are VoLTE, 4G, dual band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type C and Bluetooth 5 LE. Coming to the battery a 3010 mAh powers this handset and this battery supports Quick Charge 3.0. The Xiaomi Mi 6X will go on sale in China from 27th April. It’s price starts from RMB 1599 (approx Rs. 17K) with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM. The 6GB/64GB is priced at RMB 1799 (approx Rs. 19K) and the 6GB/128GB is priced at RMB 1999 (approx Rs. 21K).

No word about this Xiaomi Mi 6X launch in India, but it could happen.
