Another dual SIM android phone called the ViewPhone 3 from ViewSonic has been launched. The main features are 800 MHz processor, 3G support and a multi touch supported 3.5 inch display screen. This dual SIM android phone is priced at under Rs. 10,000.
There are two things that are popular in India, dual SIM handsets and Android and it is for this reason many manufactures are coming up with handsets packed with both these features. The ViewSonic ViewPhone 3 is a dual SIM phone running android 2.3 gingerbread OS.
ViewSonic has not yet disclosed all the features but what we know for now is that the handset sports a 3.5 inch touchscreen display with multi touch support and resolution of 480 by 320 pixels. The processors (single core) clocked at 800 MHz.
3G is supported and this smartphone can accommodate 2 GSM SIM cards. This phone comes with 512 MB RAM and expandable memory is supported up to 32 GB. Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5 mm audio port.
Another good feature is the presence of a 5 MP camera, not sure if that is with or without flash. The battery capacity is 1500 mAh which should keep the handset going for 2 or 3 days of moderate usage.
