Video calls in most meeting rooms still rely on a tangle of separate cameras, microphones, and cables that need to be set up before anyone can actually start talking. ViewSonic wants to remove that friction with its newest launch. The company has introduced the ViewBoard IN04V-N Series, its first interactive display to pack a 50MP AI camera directly into the panel, along with an 8-microphone array and a full suite of AI tools built for boardrooms and classrooms alike.
The idea is simple: one screen, one plug, and everything a hybrid meeting or a modern classroom needs is already built in.
What Makes the ViewBoard IN04V-N Different
Most interactive displays need an external webcam, a separate conferencing speakerphone, and often a laptop bolted on the side to make video calls work. The IN04V-N Series folds all of that into the panel itself.
At the center of the display is an intelligent imaging system with AI facial tracking, which keeps the person speaking in frame automatically instead of leaving them to walk in and out of a fixed camera angle. This is paired with an 8-microphone array that uses gesture recognition and sound localization, meaning the display can pick up voices accurately from across a large room and respond to hand gestures without anyone touching the screen.
Muneer Ahmad, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, ViewSonic India, explained the thinking behind the launch: organisations today need meeting technology that works the moment a call starts, without extra setup or extra hardware plugged in.
Screen Sizes and Core Hardware
The ViewBoard IN04V-N Series is being offered in three sizes to fit different room types, from small huddle spaces to large lecture halls.
| Screen Size | Best Suited For |
|---|---|
| 65-inch | Small meeting rooms, huddle spaces |
| 75-inch | Standard boardrooms, mid-size classrooms |
| 86-inch | Large conference rooms, lecture halls |
Under the hood, the display runs on Android 14 EDLA upgradable to Android 16. EDLA stands for Enhanced Device Licensing Agreement, Google’s certification program that lets a smart display run full Google services and the Play Store the way a phone or tablet does, rather than a stripped-down version of Android.

The panel is powered by an RK3576 processor, built on a mix of Arm Cortex-A72 and Cortex-A53 cores, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage. In simple terms, that combination is meant to keep multiple apps, video calls, and annotation tools running smoothly at the same time without lag.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Display | 4K Ultra HD, IR multi-touch frame |
| Processor | RK3576 (Arm Cortex-A72x4 + Cortex-A53x4) |
| RAM | 8GB LPDDR5 |
| Storage | 128GB eMMC |
| Operating System | Android 14 EDLA upgradable to 16 |
| Camera | Integrated 50MP AI camera |
| Microphones | 8-mic array with gesture recognition |
| HDMI Input | Up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz |
| Expansion | 80-pin OPS support for 4K 60Hz output |
| Connectivity | Smart USB port, integrated speakers, NFC |
For anyone unfamiliar with the term, OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) is a slot-in standard that lets a separate mini PC module be plugged directly into the back of the display, giving IT teams an easy way to upgrade the internal computer without replacing the whole screen.
AI Tools Built for Meetings and Classrooms
Beyond video calls, ViewSonic has loaded the IN04V-N with AI features aimed at making everyday collaboration faster.
The AI Text Recognition Pen converts handwritten notes into editable digital text on the spot, so notes taken on the board do not need to be retyped later. The display also supports multilingual translation, text-to-speech, and standard formatting tools such as text resizing, alignment, colour customisation, and shape editing, alongside the ability to copy, duplicate, and rearrange objects on screen.
Two features stand out for classrooms specifically. The Magical Pen can turn a rough sketch into a clean geometric shape or expand a simple drawing into a more detailed AI-generated visual. The Shape Recognition tool automatically cleans up hand-drawn shapes into polished, presentation-ready graphics, which is useful during fast-moving brainstorming sessions or live lessons.
The display can also search recognised text directly on YouTube and Wikipedia, and generate explanations or learning challenges from that content, turning the board into more of a live research tool than a static whiteboard.
Price and Availability in India
View Sonic has confirmed the ViewBoard IN04V-N Series will roll out across India through its authorized partners and enterprise sales network. Official pricing has not been announced yet, which is typical for enterprise and education display launches that are sold through direct sales channels rather than open retail.

Related Products Worth Checking Out
Since the IN04V-N is sold through ViewSonic’s enterprise channel rather than general retail, it is not listed as a standalone product on Amazon India yet. If you are exploring interactive displays or setting up a hybrid meeting room in the meantime, these categories are worth a look.

The Bottom Line
The ViewBoard IN04V-N is ViewSonic’s attempt to solve the most annoying part of hybrid meetings, which is the setup itself. By moving the camera, microphones, and AI tools directly into the display, the company is betting that fewer cables and fewer separate devices will win over IT teams and school administrators. Pricing will ultimately decide how far that bet pays off, and that detail is still pending from ViewSonic.
