Uber will now allow users to update their pickup location once they book a ride. Today many users use Ola or Uber to book a ride as per their convenience, but a common problem that users face is requesting a ride from a wrong location.
At times a rider might accidentally book a ride from a wrong place and then when they realize it they end up cancelling the ride. Normally the pickup location is automatically detected via the smartphone GPS lock.
How to change pickup address on Uber
So once you book ride and when you get a confirmation and the driver in on the route towards the location that you initially provided, tap edit and then select your new pickup location. Once location is updated the driver will be notified.
Uber will soon update their apps with this new feature on both iOS and Android platforms for India. You can expect this feature coming up within a week or two.
