Swipe launched a new handset for Rs. 3,999. It is called the Swipe Elite Dual and main highlight is that this low cost handset comes with dual camera setup on the back.  Also do note that it is MediaTek Quad core powered.

Swipe Elite Dual Specifications

This handset comes with dual SIM slots and running Android Nougat out of the box. It features a 5 inch screen, it’s scratch resistant to some extent and screen resolution is 854 x 480 pixels. There is a minimal 1GB RAM on board and a 8GB ROM (Internal Storage Space).

Users can use micro SD card of up to 32GB. As mentioned this handset is powered by 1.3 GHz MTK 6582M, MediaTek Quad Core processor and comes with a 5MP camera placed on the front with front LED flash.

Swipe Elite Dual

On the rear the Swipe Elite Dual actually houses a 8MP + 2MP dual camera setup.  There is LED flash support for the rear camera too. Other features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4, FM radio and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz).

Swipe Elite Dual houses a 3000 mAh battery and is already available on Shopclues for Rs. 3,999 in Black, Gold and White color options.

  1. The 3k to 4.5 k can be a good price segment for these older phones especially if you use Android Go. Rather than buy an expensive feature phone you can buy a minimalistic smartphone and get better value. 3 k would have been an ideal price for this one. They should provide dedicated micro sd card support along with dual sims, removable battery ranging from 3000 to 4000 mah which can be charged with a 1a charger(so that very small and cheap powerbanks work as well), and if possible really loud speakers so that you are getting some things not readily available in more expensive phones. Also get one good shooter in the back instead of 2 crappy cameras and bogus bokeh effect.
