Samsung has launched new entry level smartphone called the Samsung Z1 that is also it’s first Tizen based smartphone in India. The Z1 is a dual core powered handset and first of its kind running on the Tizen 2.3 OS.
The Z1 sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels). As mentioned it is running Samsung’s own in house Tizen operation system version 2.3 with 768 MB of RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage. There is external card support of up to 64GB.
This handset is powered by an unknown 1.2GHz dual core processor. Since it is running a different OS, i.e. the Tizen it does not officially support android app, but users can download and install the OpenMobile application or ACL and after that they will be able to use Android application on Tizen.
It is a dual SIM handset that supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, ultra power saving mode and Bluetooth. There is 3MP primary camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front. A 1500 mAh battery powers up the Z1. Weight with battery is 112 grams and it is 9.7mm thick.
Samsung Z1 Tizen is now available in Red, White and Black colour options for Rs. 5,700.
It can’t support dual sim in it.

Nothing can be clearly stated about the tizen’s future or samsung’s effort until a complete hands on review. meanwhile i am afraid of samsungs cheap hardware quality that is evident nowadays.. Timeless memory BADA used to rock the nerds hands in Wave-2 and THE Wave 3 and GT-5380 , THE Monte, but..It was top notch hardware and superior displays that samsung WAS really awarded for..
Really amazing os launched by Samsung,is that like a BADA, samsung’s own operating system, struggled a lot in the market past years.
Only the feature comes in picture is tizen os otherwise i hate samsung

Not Nokia dude. They are aiming to be more like Apple,building their own ecosystem etc. If they succeed, it would be a huge, huge boon for us consumers. Prices will be more competitive etc

Well, I’m not a Samsung fan myself but this move suggest that they are trying to be loose from the grasp of Android. They have the money and resources. So anything can happen. No one knew android would be this big certain years ago. But above all, the resulting factor would be that prices will be more competitive. Hurray for us Buyers.
Poor business strategy, they are coping all from apple, nothing innovative, can’s succeed like apple poor copycats, loser samsung.
Till end of 2016 Nokia can do nothing, because they signed agreement with Microsoft not to use any other OS except Windows and you better know windows phone. So nokia fan have to wait till 2017.
