Good news for users looking for android phone with dedicated keypad, the Samsung Galaxy Golden I9230 flip phone is here. And the bad news is that this handset is priced at Rs. 49,900 – the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is in fact cheaper.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden as the name suggests is with a golden colored body (side). The I9230 is a flip type phone with single SIM support. For input users can use the alpha numeric keypad that can be flipped open or use the touch feature on the 3.7 inch touchscreen just like on any other touch screen phones. Handset is powered by 1.7GHz MSM8930 Pro dual core processor.

There are two screen 1 on the font, 2nd on the inner side and the alpha numeric keypad is separate. So when you use the alpha numeric keypad you use the inner screen. The 2x 3.7 inch screen is Super AMOLED supporting 800×480 pixels resolution with 16M colors. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean runs on 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. You can add additional storage of up to 64GB using the micro SD card slot. Samsung Galaxy Golden I9230 is 15.8mm thick (cause of the flip form) and weight is 179 grams.
