Samsung Mobiles has announced 3 new handsets in the Galaxy A Series the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 – these are 2nd Gen (2016) smartphones. These new A series handset will hit the store in China by mid December 2015. No word about the global launch or the price yet.
Galaxy A3 2016
The A3 handset will be available in single and dual SIM version. It sports a 4.7 inch super AMOLED screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Android 5.1.1 runs the show with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage plus 128GB micro SD card support.
A3 2016 houses the qualcomm snapdragon 410 quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. There is 13MP AF camera on the rear with flash and a 5MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G (Cat 4), 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth. This handset gets power from a 2300 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery.
Galaxy A5 2016
This smartphone is powered by 1.6GHz octa core processor (most likely EXYNOS) and sails on Android 5.1.1. Screen is 5.2 inches, a super AMOLED supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 128GB external card support.
A5 is packed with 13MP primary camera with flash and 5MP secondary camera. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFI, Finger print scanner and NFC. The A5 gets power from a 2900 mAh battery (non-removable).
Galaxy A7 2016
This handset also available in dual SIM variant houses a 1.6GHz octa core processor running Lollipop 5.1.1 over a 5.5 inch super AMOLED screen supporting 1920 x 1080p resolution. A7 is packed with 3GB RAM, 16GB storage and 128GB external card support.
There is 13MP AF camera on the rear with flash and front facing camera is of 5MP resolution. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and finger print scanner. A7 2016 gets power from a 3300 mAh non-removable battery.
