  1. When the mobile is going to launch in India. They said in April but till now there is no confirmed specification and design details from the company.
I like intex has to come up with another handset for price range of Rs.10k with addition of
    1)Wi-Fi ac(dual band),
    2)NFC,
    3)expandable upto 128GB SD card,
4)SD415 or higher / MT helio series
    5)fingerprint scanner

  2. Sailfish os is like sugar ice in a cake, it is versatile os. They need more collaboration with the mobile co. So that people can know much about them, Intex took right decision but now in mwc 2016 android war of specs n price it seems hard to stay in the battle of smartphone os.

  3. I think, right now in the 7000 Rs price bracket Coolpad note 3 Lite is the best smartphone u can buy in the market along with Intex Cloud Flash.

    1. you cant compare two diff os… its just like test version… for them who like to try new things… aur isiliye price kam hai. . .
btw i am eagerly waiting phone from Microsoft with sailfish…

  4. Wow seems promising unlike wp. What about Sailfish OS ? does it have an app store like play store ?

    1. How can a OS(software) look good in terms of hardware and specs? ?

But seriously there is a point here. Greed of specifications may well lead to improved sales of this product even if Sailfish doesn’t really need 2 gb RAM and performance is not at all improved by having excess RAM

Sailfish is Python-based and so you can tweak it to make apps from other operating systems such as Android and iOS work on it! So you already start out with a good app base. I think the people making Sailfish will benefit by making the basic OS very open-ended and providing several choices of decoding layers(which you can keep switching!) which will enable you to access and use apps from different playstores! Thus you can use an iOS-like interface while accessing social media sites and use a Android-like interface for downloading torrents etc! These decoding layers will themselves be upgraded from time to time to reflect changes in the OS from which apps are borrowed. They can also provide a strong web-programming interface with cloud support.

If you provide maximum customizability and the ability to run iOS and Android apps on the same device by simply switching a decoding layers, provide a file system, default access to root control, easy options for screenshot and screen capture and also make programming options available with cloud support(there has been a need for a long time for a lightweight web-programming interface), in a short space, it can become the Baap of all mobile OSes because it borrows from and combines the strengths of every other OS out there!

      1. Yes u r right, its a different is and not like android at all so maybe android need 2-3 GB ram but sailfish may only need 1 GB ram to function smoothly.
