Rio Mobiles has launched 3 new budget friendly smartphones with names that really doesn’t sound like it’s a smartphone. The 3 handsets namely Rio London is priced at Rs. 3,399, Rio Paris for Rs. 4,399 and Rio New York for Rs. 4,999.

Rio London is powered by 1.3GHz Dual Core processor from MediaTek (MT6572). It sports a 4 inch IPS screen with WVGA resolution running Android KitKat 4.4.2 with 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and micro SD card support. This dual SIM handset also includes a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front camera. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Rio London gets power from 1500 mAh battery with talk time of up to 5 hours on full charge. This handset is available on Snapdeal for Rs. 3,399.

Rio Paris is also using the same hardware as seen on the Rio London. It’s dual core running Android KitKat with 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and 32GB external card support. Specifications are the same with some minor charges i.e. 4.5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels and 1700 mAh battery. Rio Paris is priced at Rs. 4,399 available on Snapdeal.

Rio New York Rio Paris Rio London

Rio New York is powered y 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad core processor. It is also dual SIM running KitKat with 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and external card support of up to 32GB. This handset comes with 8MP rear AF camera with flash and 2MP front camera. Touch screen is 5 inches supporting 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Key features are 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Rio New York gets power from a 2000 mAh battery and now available on Snapdeal for Rs. 4,999.
