Dual-Loop Liquid Cooling and Gaming Hardware
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 works with a RedCore R5 gaming chip and G1 display-control chip. The announced platform uses a 2nm process with CPU speeds up to 5GHz. Dedicated hardware handles functions such as touch response, lighting, rendering and supported frame-generation features.
AquaCore Cooling System 3.0 combines upper and lower liquid loops, a 25,500 RPM fan, a vapour chamber and Liquid Metal 4.0. A micro-pump moves coolant through the loops, while RGB lighting makes part of the cooling hardware visible through the rear design. The aim is sustained performance during longer gaming sessions.
185Hz Display, 8400mAh Battery and Charging
A 6.85-inch 1.5K BOE X11 OLED display supports up to 185Hz. Its under-display front camera leaves the screen without a visible punch-hole. REDMAGIC specifies 0.96mm bezels, 1900-nit global peak brightness and 5000-nit local peak brightness. Those are different brightness measurements, rather than a promise of 5000 nits across the full panel.
Touch sampling reaches up to 5000Hz instantaneously, with an average rate up to 500Hz. The shoulder triggers have a separate 520Hz rating. Display refresh rate, touch sampling and trigger sampling describe different parts of the experience.
The 8400mAh battery supports 80W wired charging, wireless charging and bypass charging. The global release does not specify a wireless-charging wattage. The body is 8.5mm thick, with a flat rear and no raised camera island.

India Availability and Global Model Differences
India is listed among the supported Asia-Pacific markets, but an INR price is not provided. The dollar prices above are regional store prices, not confirmed Indian retail prices.
This is the global REDMAGIC 12 Pro, distinct from the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ China launch. The global release lists 80W wired charging and 520Hz shoulder triggers; the earlier China announcement listed 120W and 700Hz respectively. China-model charging figures should therefore not be carried across to this global version.
