Another android handset with a 5 inch touchscreen display called the LePhone K860 from Lenovo, believed to be powered by a 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos (4412) – quad core processor will be launched probably in October 2012, if rumors are to be believed.

The K860 powerhouse will run on the android 4.0 OS and not sure if Lenovo will allow an upgrade to the latest Android 4.1. The LePhone will come with 1 GB RAM and 4 gigs of internal storage. The display screen as mentioned is 5 inches (screen is smaller as compared with Note 2) with HD quality resolution.

The LePhone K860 will house the same CPU that is being used on the Samsung Galaxy S3. The specifications are very similar to Galaxy Note 2 which is yet to be announced.  I believe this smartphone will be cheaper than the Note 2.

The handset is 9.6 mm thin and weighs about 185 grams. There are two cameras a front facing 2 MP camera and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with full HD recording supported. Other standard features like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc will be included. That’s all we know for now.  Some of the specs are confirmed but to get a better picture we will wait for the official announcement.
