The Poco F1 first sale will begin at 12PM on Flipkart. The handset price starts from Rs. 20,999. There are some offers wherein you can get the handset for a even lower price.

So the sale begins at 12noon on Flipkart and it will, I guess, not be that easy getting the handset. This is a affordable beast, cause you are getting a power packed handset with qualcomm snapdragon 845 for the lowest price possible.

Add to it the liquid cooling tech will go well with gamers who can now play heavy games for a longer period of time. I have been using this handset for quite some time and I must say the battery life is pretty impressive.

Having a premium handset (powerful hardware) and getting impressive battery life is something hard to find. On this phone with a 4000 mAh battery I get an easy one day of battery life with mixed usage and at times even one and a half day (all depends on usage).

POCO F1 beast

Now if I use any other premium smartphone they will hardly last for a day, which means I need to carry a power bank with me, but with Poco F1 you can keep the power bank away.

Here is the full review of Poco F1.

  4. Hi Gogi, received the poco yesterday. Although phone is good , disappointed with one aspect. The app notifications don’t show up in the status bar.i keep my phone on silent in office and it would be a pain to figure out missed calls or messages by just looking at the phone. I need to slide down the shade to see those. Basic feature of Android missing. I dont think this can be corrected since there is no space because of the huge notch. Pls suggest.

    1. You can have the icons on the status bar. Got to Settings >> Notification and status bar and toggle the switch “Notification Icons”. Now, you’ll have app icons for every notification.

      1. There is no switch “notification icons”. Not sure which phone you are looking at. The issue is even mentioned in xda forum. All reviewers missed it. Also netflix and amazon prime doesn’t play in full hd.

        1. And the best part about Mi software team is that after latest OTA update. You cann’t even download Asphalt 9 on Poco F1…. Hahahaha

      1. I too got the poco phone yesterday and the camera is bad. I get yellowish tint and the quality is just average. I feel Poco supplied completely different phone with better software for the reviewers. The phone has a lot of bugs.

        1. I am happy with camera. Maybe you want to exchange your handset. Camera quality is really good and there is no yellow tint. Just check whether your reading mode is on ?

  6. Durability test on YouTube shows display glass shattering even on a fall of 3 ft. Must use a good protective case. It seems that Gorilla glass is scratch resistant only and not shatterproof.

    1. Bad luck of the person who did the durability test, if the person had some tech know how he/she would not have done the test, cause Gorilla glass is technically strong but brittle.

    2. Whatever may be the handset, just remember one thing. More the screen edges are exposed, the more are the changes of braking the screen!!
While falling/dropping when the screen glass touches the surface first, nothing is going to save the screen like Gogi mentioned.
Gorilla glass is just scratch resistant to some extent, not break/shatter proof like plastic screens used in Moto!!!
But for this Poco F1, screen area is very much exposed. Hence, be careful.
