  1. hi i want to buy 2 tabs, 1 for my use like net, movies, excel, word work etc below 7000 and another for my brother around abelow 6000 plz send me details.

  2. Hi gogi, I’m planning to buy this tab. I think tab without 3g has got better specifications. I have 3 options in my mind- micromax funbook pro, karbonn smart tab cosmic 10.1 and this one..any complaint for this one?as per my knowledge penta has gps, bluetooth etc while the other 2 dont have..could u plz suggest something..

  3. I just purchased one bsnl penta tab model ws802c and now i want to inset my sim card (airtel with net) but its is working . Can u pls help ?

  4. Hi gogi, can tpad 802c supports gsm sim. Can it be upgradable to android 4.0 ICS as 704c. What is the battery power in mah of this. Please suggest.

    1. Hi yes you can use a SIM (GSM) as it has the SIM slot. It may sound silly but the pantal site does not mention the battery capacity. Based on the experienced of consumers using the low cot BSNL tab, I would suggest you look for some other company, pantal's customer service is pathetic.

  5. Hi Gogi

I have booked this Tablet IS701R with BSNL connection. Does this one too help in connecting it to any other 2G sim of say Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel etc. so that I can insert that and do my net surfing? What's your say on T- pad IS701R as a whole?

    1. Hi you will still need to buy the dongle for connection check my post on IS701R you will find the list of dongles supported. The BSNL pad is good if you compare it with its price, I think a capacitive touchscreen would have even made it better.

    1. Both are cellular networks. It has built in SIM slot – you use any SIM (from any operator) for calling and net surfing.

  6. Hi Gogi,
You site is very good. I appreciate your efforts from my heart.

Penta Tablet launched by BSNL in India. This is 2nd cheapest tablet after Aakash tablet but this is WiFi tablet. you cannot connect internet through sim card but in aakash you can connect internet through GPRS /SIM card.

In India if companies will provide quality tablet in low cost then customer will sure for success of tablet in Indian market.

    1. Raj,
      Thank you.
Personally I do not like the phone functionality on a tablet as it does not make sense moving around with this big device, moreover not everyone will be using it for full day (even if the battery supports it). As for Penta tab their specs are really good. Plus just like on aakash you can also connect USB dongle in case you need net access.

      1. Can we do office- WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, PDF, on WS802C and what is the current price of it ?
