Most wireless earbuds today come in familiar colours like black, white or blue. For the festive season, OnePlus is adding something a little different. The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r are now available in a fresh Jade Mist colour. It is a soft green shade that joins the existing Aura Blue and Ash Black options.
Nothing has changed on the hardware side. These are still the same TWS earbuds that OnePlus says became its highest-selling earbuds across channels in 2026.
One of the biggest highlights continues to be the 54-hour total battery life. During the festive sale, the effective OnePlus Nord Buds 3r price also drops to Rs 1,599.
The new Jade Mist version goes on sale from October 8, 2026. Here is everything you need to know.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3r Features
The new Jade Mist colour may look different, but the specifications are exactly the same as the other Nord Buds 3r variants.
Here are the main features that matter.
Up to 54 Hours of Battery Life
Battery life is one of the biggest strengths of the Nord Buds 3r.
OnePlus claims up to 54 hours of total music playback when the charging case is included. The earbuds themselves can provide around 12 hours of playback on a charge.
According to OnePlus, this is more than 40 percent higher than the previous Nord Buds 2r.
Fast charging is also supported. A quick 10-minute charge can provide around 8 hours of listening time, which can be useful when you forget to charge the earbuds overnight.
The Nord Buds 3r also come with TÜV Rheinland Battery Health Certification. TÜV Rheinland is an independent German testing organisation.
The battery has been tested for performance across 1,000 charging cycles, which should help it maintain better battery health over long-term use.
12.4mm Drivers and Custom EQ
Each earbud uses a 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic driver.
The driver is basically the small speaker inside the earbud that produces sound. A larger driver can move more air, which generally helps produce stronger bass.
The titanium coating adds stiffness to the driver and is designed to help maintain cleaner sound, especially at higher volumes.
OnePlus also includes Sound Master EQ.
You get three preset sound profiles along with a 6-band custom equaliser, allowing you to adjust bass, mids and treble based on your preference.
These settings can be changed through the HeyMelody app or directly through supported OnePlus phones.
The default tuning is focused more towards bass. If you prefer clearer vocals or less bass, the EQ gives you plenty of room to adjust the sound.
There is also OnePlus 3D Audio, which creates a wider 360-degree sound effect for music and movies. However, this feature works only with selected OnePlus smartphones.
AI Noise Cancellation for Clearer Calls
For voice calls, the Nord Buds 3r use a 2-mic AI Call Noise Cancellation system along with beamforming technology.
Beamforming helps the microphones concentrate more on your voice while reducing sounds coming from other directions.
There is also an anti-wind design that can help improve call clarity when you are outdoors or in windy conditions.
Bluetooth 5.4 and 47ms Gaming Mode
The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4, which offers a stable wireless connection along with improved power efficiency.
Gamers also get a 47ms low-latency Game Mode.
Latency is the small delay between something happening on the screen and hearing the matching sound through the earbuds. Lower latency can make games such as BGMI feel more responsive because footsteps, gunshots and other sounds stay better synced with the action.
The Nord Buds 3r also support dual-device connectivity.
This allows the earbuds to remain connected to two devices at the same time, such as a smartphone and laptop, making it easier to switch between them.
Google Fast Pair is supported too, so compatible Android phones can connect using a quick pop-up.
AI Translation, Find My Earbuds and Other Features
OnePlus has packed in several smaller features that can be useful in everyday use.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| AI Translation | Start live translation through a supported OnePlus phone |
| Tap 2 Take | Quick tap shortcut for supported functions |
| Aqua Touch | Makes touch controls easier to use with sweaty or slightly wet fingers |
| Find My Earbuds | Plays a sound to help locate a missing earbud |
| IP55 rating | Protection against dust, sweat and water splashes |
The IP55 rating means the earbuds are protected against most dust and can handle water splashes.
That makes them suitable for workouts, sweat and light rain. They are not designed to be submerged in water.

Does the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r Have ANC?
This is an important point to understand before buying.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r do not have Active Noise Cancellation or ANC for music listening.
They do have AI call noise cancellation, but this feature is mainly designed to make your voice clearer during calls.
Proper ANC works differently. It uses microphones to detect surrounding sounds and then creates opposite sound waves to reduce background noise such as the constant hum inside an aeroplane, bus or train.
The in-ear design of the Nord Buds 3r still blocks some outside noise naturally. This is known as passive noise isolation.
If ANC is important, you can consider the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 with 32dB ANC.
There is also the newer Nord Buds 4 with 52dB real-time ANC if you want stronger noise cancellation.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3r vs Realme Buds T310 vs Nord Buds 3
If you are searching for the best earbuds under Rs 2,000, the Nord Buds 3r will probably be compared with options such as the Realme Buds T310 and Nord Buds 3.
Prices can change during festive sales, but here is a quick comparison.
| Feature | OnePlus Nord Buds 3r | Realme Buds T310 | OnePlus Nord Buds 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Listing price | Rs 1,999 | Rs 2,139 | Rs 2,799 |
| Active Noise Cancellation | No | Yes, up to 46dB hybrid | Yes, up to 32dB |
| Total battery | Up to 54 hours | Up to 40 hours | Up to 43 hours |
| Driver | 12.4mm | 12.4mm | 12.4mm |
| Gaming latency | 47ms | Low latency mode | Low latency mode |
| Main advantage | Long battery life and lower price | Budget ANC | ANC with OnePlus ecosystem |
The biggest advantage of the Nord Buds 3r is its battery life. It offers up to 54 hours of playback, which is higher than the other two options in this comparison.
However, it misses out on ANC.
The Realme Buds T310 and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 offer Active Noise Cancellation, but they cost more and provide fewer total playback hours.
Who Should Consider the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r Jade Mist?
The Nord Buds 3r makes sense for students, commuters and regular travellers who do not want to charge their earbuds every day.
With up to 54 hours of total battery life, a full charge could easily cover several days of normal listening.
Casual gamers can also make use of the 47ms Game Mode, without needing to buy dedicated gaming earbuds.
OnePlus smartphone users get a few additional benefits, including features such as 3D Audio and AI Translation on supported devices.
And if you are bored of the usual black earbuds, the new Jade Mist colour certainly looks more interesting. At under Rs 2,000 during the festive sale, it could also work well as a gift.
If you want to keep the charging case looking new, you can also check out a silicone case cover for the Nord Buds 3r.
Final Thoughts
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r Jade Mist is not a new generation of earbuds. OnePlus has simply added a fresh colour to an already popular model.
That also means the features remain familiar. You get a 54-hour battery, 12.4mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device connectivity, fast charging and a useful 47ms gaming mode.
The main feature missing is Active Noise Cancellation.
At the effective festive price of Rs 1,599, the Nord Buds 3r still offers an attractive combination of battery life and everyday features for buyers looking at TWS earbuds under Rs 2,000.
The Jade Mist option mainly gives buyers something different from the usual black and blue colours.

If colour is not important and you want the earbuds immediately, the Nord Buds 3r in Aura Blue is already available.
