Obi Worldphone has launched a new low cost smartphone the MV1 for $139 at MWC 2016. This handset sports a 5 inch screen and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 quad core processor. MV1 comes with  dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support.

Worldphone MV1 as mentioned houses the qualcomm snapdragon 212 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with Adreno 306GPU. This smartphone sports a 5 inch touch screen protected with gorilla glass 3 and supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

This is a dual SIM handset that is running both Cyanogen OS 12.1.1 and Android Lollipop 5.1. There is optional 1GB RAM or 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space, plus micro SD card support of up to 64GB.

MV1 weight with battery is 149 grams and thickness is 8.95mm. This handset also comes with an 8MP AF camera packed on the rear with LED flash support plus FHD video recording capabilities. Front camera is a 2MP shooter.

Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. Obi Worldphone MV1 gets power from a 2500 mAh non-removable battery. This smartphone is priced at $139 with 1GB RAM (approx ₹9,500), with 2GB RAM it will cost $149 (approx ₹10,200).
