Nokia has now announced the Nokia Lumia 620 a smartphones powered by the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 OS sailing on a 1GHz dual core processor with a price tag of $249. There is no word as to when this handset will be released in India.

The Lumia 620 comes with a 3.8 inch capacitive touchscreen (TFT screen with clearblack display) with 800×480 pixels (246ppi) with multi touch support. The handset will come with 512MB RAM and 8 Gigs of internal storage. Add to it a micro SD slot that can house a single card of up to 64GB capacity.

Nokia Lumia 620 will support 3G (HSDPA up to 21Mbps), 2G (EDGE/GPRS), GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 3, Wi-Fi and micro USB. On the rear side you will find a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash with 720p video recording capabilities @ 30fps. There is a front facing camera too of VGA resolution.

The handset is powered by 1GHz Krait Snapdragon S4 processor from Qualcomm with Adreno 305 GPU. Like other Lumia smartphones this one too comes with free 7GB SkyDrive storage. A 1300 mAh battery powers this phone with talktime of about 10 hours and standby time of about 13 days.

The price is at 249 USD that comes to around 13K in India.  Nokia Lumia 510 is available for under Rs. 10K whereas the Lumia 610 comes for around 12,300. The 620 pricing I believe will be between 12k to 17k.
