The newly launched Moto E 2nd Gen smartphone sporting a 4.5 inch TFT LCD screen with dual SIM support running Lollipop 5.0 will be available for Rs. 6,999 exclusively on Flipkart with launch day offer at Midnight.

Motorola recently announced the Moto E 2nd Gen handset that is slightly better than the Moto E 1st Gen handset and carries the same price tag of Rs. 6,999 (1st Gen is now priced at Rs. 5,999). This new handset is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (qualcomm snapdragon 200 with Adreno 302 GPU).

The Moto E 2nd Gen weight is 143 grams and not so slim – 12.3mm thick. Screen is TFT LCD of size 4.5 inches with qHD – 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The screen does come with gorilla glass 3 protection. When it comes to memory and storage there is 1GB on board RAM, 8GB ROM and 32GB external micro SD card support.

On this handset Motorola has packed a 5MP auto focus camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front. I guess the camera will be able to shoot at least 720p videos. Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS with BeiDou / GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.

Moto E 2nd Gen with 2390 mAh built in battery on Flipkart for Rs. 6,999.
