Micromax Funbook Pro a 10.1 inch tablet will be launched soon. This tablet will be powered by a 1.2 GHz processor, a bigger screen and a better resolution.
After the success of Micromax Funbook the 7 inch version with an interesting price tag, Micromax is planning to launch the Funbook pro version which seems to be loaded with the same features but with 25.6 cm or 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display.
Micromax has not yet disclosed as to when this tablet will be available. For now the Micromax website has put up some info on the Funbook pro with the coming soon tag. It is thin, sleek and light weight making it easier to carry and operate. The pro tablet will be available in Brilliant Black and Suave Silver colours.
The Micromax Funbook Pro is powered by single core 1.2GHz CPU (Cortex A8) with Dual Mali 400 GPU similar to what we have seen on the 7 inch Funbook but this tab comes loaded with 1GB RAM. There is 8GB internal storage with microSD support.

Thanks Shubham, Seems they have updated some more info, have updated the Micromax Funbook Pro 10.1 Battery info on the page. Yes it should have USB OTG.
hi gogi is the Mali 400 enough powerful to play high end games?
Yes please check the xtab video and other tablet reviews I have uploaded the game play videos.
I think for 10 inches tablet, 1.2GHz is too low it should be Minimum of 1.5GHz. What do you say Gogi ?
Does not make any difference cause there is the mali 400 GPU but bigger screen means more battery juice, need to see the battery mAh.
hi gogi sir , sir what is the approx price of this tab
Should be under Rs. 10K. I think around 7.5 to 9 should be a good pricing.
I want to know, can I use any unlock dongle with this tab or it also comes with tata photon datacard.
For now there are no offers with it so lets wait for the launch.
Can i connect 5.1 or 7.1 channel sound system with this tab anyhow?
No you cannot.
rumor has it, tab may be released as soon as next week, no price yet. sounds exciting. I will buy it for this eid present.
Everytime I want to buy a tab, a new tab will be launched. I think this 10 inch will be a hit. My main use of the tab will be web browsing and watching youtube and listen to online radio. I think this will be perfect. I wish they will launch as soon as possible I will buy locally.
Hi Gogi, is 1024×600 pixels resolution sufficient for 10.1 inch TFT LCD screen?
I mean will it be better than its 7 inch version? Illuminate me more about viewing angle of this tablet. It would have been better if it is shipped with android jelly bean out of the box. Can it be upgradable to JB? Thanks in advance.
Anand, for 7 or 10 inch the 1024 resolution is quite good. On a 10 inch screen you will get more space and bigger text. The 10.1 has not yet been released so not sure about the viewing angle. The Jelly bean OS is new and it will take time before it replaces the 4.0. But I don't think Micromax will allow an official update even if it was possible, instead they will launch another model with Jelly Bean forcing users to buy the new model.
Hi Gogi, I heard that Karbonn is planning to launch 9.7 inch tablet dubbed as Karbonn Smart Tab4 with latest android OS version 4.1. It would be helpful for many readers out there if you write one article regarding the same. Compare both these and tell me which should be the best buy and price is not the issue for me. And if possible let me know the chipset used in Karbonn Smart tab 4.
Hey, Gogi what Will Be The Expected Price Range for this tablet ?
Shashank, I have already mentioned that in the article.
