The Canvas 4 plus also called the Micromax A315 has already been launched. This true octa core powered smartphone is now available for Rs. 17,499. The price is high specially when it comes with just 1GB RAM, the Canvas Nitro is better at 12,999.

The A315 was just leaked and now it is officially available. It is 7mm thick and sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Plus point is it’s an AMOLED display. This dual SIM handset runs KitKat 4.4.2 out of the box with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. The 16GB storage is good as compared with the canvas Nitro however the RAM is just 1GB. This handset is using the well known MediaTek 1.7GHz Octa Core processor.

There is 13MP rear AF camera with LED flash and a 5MP on the front. FHD video recording and playback is supported. You can use micro SD of up to 32GB. Additional features are 3G, 2G (EDGE/ GPRS), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Battery is 2000 mAh.

There is one more different between the Nitro and the Canvas 4 plus and that is the 850 MHz band – it is missing on the Canvas Nitro. The A315 also comes loaded with the new features as seen on the Nitro (Blink Screen, quick look, camera shortcuts and smart gestures).
