Micromax A091 Canvas Engage quad core for Rs. 6199

Another handset from Micromax running KitKat will soon hit the stores. The Micromax Canvas Engage A091 is powered by quad core processor running Android 4.4 and now available on ebay.in for Rs. 6,199.

The Micromax A091 specifications are as follows. It will be powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor. Now the chipset has not been disclosed most likely it will be snapdragon (now confirmed it is BCM23550 broadcom). Android 4.4.2 will run out of the box with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. There is microSD card support (32GB).

Screen is 4 inches supporting 800 x 480 pixels resolution. There are dual cameras, 0.3MP on the front and 5MP on the rear. The rear camera on the Engage A091 can record 720p videos. This is a dual SIM handset loaded with common features like 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.

The A091 houses a 1500 mAh battery that as per the company gives a talk time of up to 5 hours and standby time of up to 200 hours. Micromax A091 Canvas Engage is already listed and available on ebay.in for Rs. 6,199.

The Micromax Unite 2 model no A106 another KitKat powered handset is also listed on Homeshop 18 for Rs. 6,999.

    Gogi please check ,It is broadcom chipset which is mentioned on micromax official website.

    for 5,700/- karbonn titanium s1 plus is much more better with 1GB RAM and 1.2 Ghz qualcomm chipset.
