Xiaomi launched the awaited Mi Mix 3 in China, it will hit the Chinese stores from 1st November with a price tag starting from RMB 3,299 (approx Rs. 34K). Unique thing about the Mi Mix 3 is it is packed with 10GB RAM, features a AMOLED screen and Snapdragon 845 octa core powered.

Mi Mix 3 will feature a 6.3 inch screen, its SAMSUNG AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution – a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Mi Mix 3 comes with patented slider, it makes use of Neodymium magnets, you just need to push the screen down and the mechanism kicks in and opens in a snap with right force.

The front camera is placed in space created by the slider. So the front camera is hidden. On the rear there is 12MP+12MP dual cameras same sensor as used on the Mi 8, perfect for low light shots. There is 4 axis OIS for stable video shots. On the front there is 24MP + 2MP dual camera that too does an impressive job. With these enhancements, Mi MIX 3 achieved a DxOMark photo score of 108, ranking among the world’s best smartphones for photography.

Other features are MIUI, first Xiaomi Smartphone to come with AI dedicated button, Xiao Ai voice assistant, 4000 mAh battery with 10W wireless charging support (also shipped with every unit).

Mi MIX 3 will be available in Jade Green, Sapphire Blue, and Onyx Black through online and offline channels in Chinese mainland, with 6GB + 128GB for RMB 3,299, 8GB +128G for RMB 3,599, and 8GB + 256GB for RMB 3,999. The 10GB + 256GB Mi MIX 3 Palace Museum Edition is priced at RMB 4,999. Availability in other markets will be announced closer to local launch dates.
