Meizu another known Chinese brand is gearing up to enter the Indian markets. They have launched the Meizu India Facebook page and currently running a contest. Meizu will launch their handset soon probably in a month or two.

Meizu has not yet launched a dedicated website for Indian consumers, however they have the Meizu India Facebook page operational. There is a post with contest details and an image that says ‘ Hello Indian Fans!’ – Meizu.

There are couple of handsets that the company had launched in China and the same is listed on their official website. I am not sure which model will be launched first, probably the M1. Pricing will definitely be the key attraction. There is no official word as to when the company will begin selling their products –no doubt they will also follow the flash sales method if their pricing is really tempting.

The latest M1 Note as listed on official website looks interesting, it is powered by 64 bit 1.7GHz octa core MT6752 chipset with Mali T760 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and optional 16/32GB storage. The handset supports 4G and sports a 5.5 inch screen with FHD resolution (with corning gorilla glass 3 protection).

Other features are Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, dual SIM support, Flyme 4 UI and 3140 mAh battery. They might launch something cheaper like the Meizu M1 (not the M1 Note), stay tuned.

  1. dear gogi ji.. is there any further update regarding MEIZU, like launch, price etc.,

  2. It would be good if they launch note series as well. They have to price this accordingly so as to beat the current competitors and also to get their customers attention.
As specs seems to be really good, let’s hope they will also price it well for the mass rush sale.

  3. No one is mentioning about after sales service, single biggest criteria to decide on which cos phone to buy. They need to set up their office in India & come up with official website. Without any service centre or dedicated stores like Xiaomi, it will be difficult to win trust.

          1. I am sure there is nothing new in that phone, Waste of resources and silicon to make that phone.

  4. Gogi sir,now cannot decide which phone to buy Meizu m1 note or Asus zenfone 2,1.8 ghz, main priority is hardcore gaming please help.

  5. Meizu M1 Note has very good built quality and hardware. And Meizu M1 Note Is Better Than Redmi Note & Yu Yureka. because
M1 Note Has Full HD 408 ppi Display. whereas Yureka & Redmi Note has 267 ppi hd display.
Yureka has 2500 mah battery m1 note 3140 mAH battery.
M1 note dual sim but no sd slot. don’t tension m1 note support’s otg.
M1 Note Has 1.7 ghz MT6752 octa core 64 bit CPU .40000 Antutu score & better than Yureka& redmi note.

If M1 Note Release For 8999/- to 9999/- then it can make attention.

    1. Bhai how much sure you are about the price? Only time will tell. For now, yureka is still a best phone for the price.

    1. xiaomi is well prepared to take on competition. first step that xiaomi will take is by getting rid of flipkart and selling via their own online shop. by doing this they will save cost they pay to flipkart….thus they can price their phones at cheaper rates. second step xiaomi will be doing later is by setting up production plant here under “make in India” plan. so that will enable even more production cost…..this way both lenovo ,meizu, MMX etc cannot match the price of xiaomi handsets.

  6. No memory card slot and no dual-sim option will make Meizu attract lesser Indian’s when compared to Mi!

  7. meizu is a very good brand that will give tough competition to both xiaomi and lenovo. they have great feature packed phones like xiaomi and lenovo… great price…but what makes them different is that meizu phones look much better and premium without crossing the price bracket.
look at M1 Note…its almost a iPhone look a like. I don’t care if someone copies iPhone design and brings high quality phone for 10k on android platform.
