MAXX Mobiles has launched 1.2GHz dual core powered AX505 DUO and MSD7 3G AX51 smartphones. These dual SIM handsets sport a 5 inch screen with FWVGA resolution.

The AX505 runs on Android 4.2.2 with 256MB RAM (not confirmed) and 4GB storage. The TFT screen is 5 inches with 854×480 pixels resolution. There is micro-SD card support. This handset supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) and is powered by 1.2GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572E chipset.

3G is not supported; however you can use the 2G (GPRS/EDGE) networks. There is 3MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. Other features are Wi-Fi (b/g/n), FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS. Battery is of 1700 mAh capacity.

The Maxx MSD7 3G AX51 is with similar specifications but with minor changes. This dual SIM handset also runs on Android 4.2.2 with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. Rear camera is 3MP and front camera of VGA resolution.

The 5 inch screen supports 854×480 pixels resolution. AX51 is powered by 1.2GHz MT6572W MediaTek dual core processor.  Other features are 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. Battery is of 1700 mAh capacity.

Some of the specification as mentioned on the official Maxxmobile website is not very clear and contradicting. Both the handsets are priced at Rs. 9,999 – this also doesn’t seem right.
