The LG Optimus M Plus an android 2.3 powered phone will soon hit the Indian markets with features like 5 MP camera with HD recording and more. The M Plus is expected to be priced under Rs. 15,000.

The Optimus M get some improvement and what you get is the Optimus M+ or M Plus. This LG handset comes with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display supporting HVGA resolution and is powered by an 800 MHz processor which is just powerful enough to run the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Another improvement is the 5 MP camera with HD recording at 720p resolution. The older Optimus M handset came with 3.2 MP camera without flash. Other features are the same that you find on the Optimus M like built in FM, expandable memory support, GPS, Social networking apps and Bluetooth 3.0 (older version came with 2.0).

There are 4 dedicated buttons just below the touchscreen. The battery mAh capacity will be 1500 (Li-ion) that will give a decent standby time of around 337 hours and talktime of up to 7 hours.

It is not clear as to when this handset will be launched in India and its price tag. Stay tuned for more updates on LG Optimus M+.
