Lenovo have now entered the smartphone market in India and already launched series of smartphones starting at Rs. 6,499. Lenovo launched the A60+, S880, S560, K860 and the p700i models.

Lenovo A60+ (3.5 inch)
This is the cheapest handset priced at Rs. 6,499 and comes with a 1GHz MTK 6565M processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU, 3.5 inch WVGA screen – 480×320 pixels with 16m colours. It’s a dual SIM phone with dual standby. The Lenovo A60 runs on the Android 2.3.6 OS and comes with 256MB RAM, supports 3G and 2G. There is a 2MP rear auto focus camera. The battery is of 1500 mAh capacity.

Lenovo P700i (4 inch)
The P700i smartphone is powered by (Exynos 4412 Quad-Core processor with Mali 4 GPU) seems to be an error actually its 1gHz dual core – running android ICS OS with 4 inch IPS screen and 800×480 pixels resolution.  It’s a dual SIM phone that supports 3G, 2G, and loaded with other common features. The RAM is 512MB with 4GB internal storage. It comes with a 5MP rear camera and a front VGA camera. The battery is of a massive 2500 mAh capacity with an impressive 22 hours talktime.
Price : Starting at Rs. 12,499.

The specs looks mind blowing but I doubt it cause on the Lenovo site in the PDF tech specification of P700i it is mentioned as Exynos 4412 Quad-Core processor but another model S560 a dual core is priced at over 14K. An error by Lenovo. But definitely you are not getting a quad core for this price.

Lenovo S560 (4 inch)
The S560 is with MTK 6577 dual-core 1.0 GHz processor , GPU info not known, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The handset runs on ICS OS and comes with 5MP rear auto focus camera and a front 0.3 MP camera. Its dual SIM with dual standby and with 2000 mAh battery. The IPS display screen is 4 inches 800×480 pixels resolution.
Price : Starting at Rs. 14,499.

Lenovo S880 (5 inch)
This one supports dual SIM with dual standby, 3G, 2G and with all other common features. The CPU is MTK 6575 (single core) clocked at 1GHz with Power VR SGX531 GPU. The handset sails on ICS and supports 3G, 2G, other common features, a rear 5MP camera, front VGA camera and 2250 mAh battery with 17 hours talktime. The display screen is 5 inches with 800×480 pixels. RAM is 512MB with 4Gigs of internal storage.
Price : Starting at Rs. 18,999.

Lenovo K860 (5 inch)
Now this one is a 5 inch phone powered by Exynos 4412 Quad-Core processor with Mali-400MP 4 cores. The RAM is 1GB with 8GB internal storage. This is single SIM phone with 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. Display resolution is also amazing at 1280×720 pixels (294ppi) with 16 million colours. There is an 8MP rear auto focus camera with 100 shot burst mode and a 2MP front camera. The handset runs on ICS OS.
Price : Starting at Rs. 28,499.
