Lenovo Ideapad A2107 Dual SIM tablet with 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS for Rs. 13495

Lenovo Ideapad A2107 a 7 inch tablet comes powered by a single core 1GHz processor running Android 4.0 with built in 3G, Wi-FI and GPS for a price tag of Rs. 13,495. The tablet is listed on the Lenovo shop website.

Those looking for a tablet with built in 3G, the A2107 is one such option. There are users who are not comfortable with new brands and would rather opt for a known brand. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is way beyond the reach of many with a price tag of approx Rs. 19,000.

The Lenovo Ideapad A2107 price does seem attractive but it is with a single core MTK6575 processor. The GPU details is not known but the tab can play only HD video i.e. 720p resolution. This tablet weighs 400 grams with 11.5mm thickness.

The 7 inch capacitive touchscreen supports 5 point multi touch with 1024×600 pixels resolution. Dual SIM is supported (WCDMA / GSM + GSM). The Ideapad A2107 also comes with Wi-Fi only version, it will be a little cheaper.

The Wi-Fi only version comes with 512MB RAM and the Wi-Fi + 3G version comes with1 GB RAM. There is optional 4/8/16 GB internal storage and also support for external micro SD cards. There are two cameras a VGA camera on the front for video chat and 2MP on the rear side.

Other features included are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual speakers, micro USB and 3.5 mm jack. The battery mAh capacity is not known but as per Lenovo the tab will last for up to 8 hours with continuous 3G usage.  And approx 8 to 10 hours of browsing via Wi-Fi. For the price this does look like a good option it is a better choice than the Swipe All in One tab.

Pratik, I have not reviewed the Lenovo tab but since its a known brand and a big name the tab should be better than Ethos. See if you can visit a Lenovo store you could get a hands on demo of this tab.

I just came to know, calling facility is not available in this tablet. Its a big drawback.

      • Amit Taksali says

SIM Slot doesn’t guaranty calling facility, check this link:

where clearly stated “No Calls could be made. No calling feature. Cant use as phone .”

  9. vicky says

Though it sports two gsm slots, there is no speaker on the top of the device and the calls can be made only through a headset or i guess Bluetooth…not like samsung galaxy tab 2 p 310

  10. Amit Taksali says

Definitely better than Swipe All-In-One. I guess I made a right decision by waiting, I believe I might get some great deals by April’13. 8-10 hrs is really great battery backup for wifi and 8 hrs for 3G.

  11. Ramesh says

its 7.2Mbps max depending on network – gogi.

This tab cannot survive in the market as it is too costly also the features are below par what do you think gogi at such a price a dual core tab is expected.
