The IdeaPad A1000 got listed on the Lenovo online store for Rs. 8,980 but the page has been removed as of now. The 7 inch dual core tablet comes with built in SIM slot with 2G support.
The Lenovo IdeaPad A1000 is powered by MT8317 MediaTek’s dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. This 10.7 mm thick tab runs on the Android 4.1 OS with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. There is a front camera of 0.3MP resolution.
It is a 7 inch tablet with 1024×600 pixels resolution. Weight is 340 grams. There is micro SD slot for adding additional storage space. With the built in SIM slot you can use the tab like a phone (phone functionality) and can also surf via the 2G network. Built in 3G is not supported, however you can connect an external dongle and access the same.
Other features are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The battery is 3500 mAh capacity. Lenovo claims that the battery will last for over 7 hours on a single charge while surfing the net using Wi-Fi. This tab is listed on flipkart.
Though the A1000 page has been removed the price I guess will be about the same. Samsung is also launching the Samsung Tab 3 tomorrow.
