Lava Mobiles will be launching a 10.1 inch tablet called the Lava Xtron Mega, soon. This tablet will be powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor and will get power from a 6000 mAh battery. The tab is listed on Lava’s official website, price details are not mentioned but looking at the specs it could be well within Rs. 10,000.

The tablet is powered by 1.3GHz Action ATM7029 quad core processor coupled with PowerVR SGX 540 GPU. It sports a 10.1 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Xtron Mega is running outdated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage.

The micro SD card slot supports external cards of up to 32GB. This tablet also includes a 2MP fixed focus camera on the rear and a secondary (front facing) camera of VGA resolution. Key features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI.

Tab can play full HD videos, there is only one sensor – accelerometer and built in battery is 6000 mAh capacity. The Lava Xtron Mega will hit the stores soon.
