Lava Mobiles today announced two new handsets in the Iris X1 series, Lava Iris X1 Grand and the Lava Iris X1 Mini. Both handsets are powered by quad core processor; the Grand is priced at Rs, 7,326 and the Mini at Rs. 4,348. These handsets will hit the stores / available online in first week of February.

Lava Iris X1 Grand sports a 5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek (MTK6582M) quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU, currently running Android 4.4 and entitled for Android 5.0 update.

The X1 Grand comes with 1GB dedicated RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with micro SD card support (32GB). It also includes an 8MP auto focus camera (BSI II Sensor) with dual LED flash placed on the rear. There is a front camera of 2MP resolution with video calling support. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.

The dual SIM Grand gets power from 2200 mAh Li-Po battery, it is priced at Rs. 7,326.

Lava Iris X1 mini and Lava Iris x1 grand launched

The dual SIM Lava Iris X1 Mini sports a 4 inch IPS screen with WVGA resolution. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor running KitKat with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage plus micro SD card support.

X1 Mini is 9mm thick and comes with 5MP camera with PureCel sensor placed on the rear along with LED flash and a VGA camera on the front. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and GPS. A 1750 mAh battery powers up this handset. Lava Iris X1 Mini is priced at Rs. 4,348.
