Lava Mobiles have launched a ultra low cost handset called the Lava Iris 325 for Rs. 2,599. This is a dual SIM handset with 2G support. Iris 325 is powered by dual core processor and it’s running Android KitKat out of the box.

Lava Iris 325 is running Android 4.4.2 over a 3.5 inch TFT screen with HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) resolution. This dual SIM handset is powered by 1.3GHz dual core processor (chipset unknown). It is 11.2mm thick and comes packed with 256MB RAM, 512MB internal storage and 32GB external card support.

Users will get less than 200MB space for apps. The Iris 325 also comes with fixed focus cameras – 2MP on the rear and a 0.3MP (VGA) on the front. Key features are 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and probably GPS. Don’t be surprised if GPS is missing.
