Karbonn and Innominds will soon come out with the Agnee tablet with 3G support and also proudly claims to be the first one with a made in India tag. The tablets will come in 7 and 10 inch screen size with single and dual core versions.

These tablets will be powered by Snapdragon processors from QUALCOMM. These tab will also come with built in SIM slot with 3G support. The pricing details and the launch dates are not known but we could see some announcements during Diwali festive season.

The tabs are named Agnee L, M and H. Agnee L will come with MSM7227A, M and H with MSM8225 processor. The L will sport an 800×480 pixel resolution on a 7 inch display. The M will come in 7 and 10 inch screen with 960×540 pixels resolution and H with 7 and 10 inches screen with 720p resolution.

The L version will come with 512MB RAM / 4GB internal storage and M/H version will come with 1GB RAM /8GB internal storage. A 4000 mAh Li-poly battery will power all these handset with expected usage time of about 5 hours. The M and the H versions will also feature a 5MP rear fixed focus camera.

Agnee 3G tablet from Karbonn And Innominds - coming soon

The specifications look great; as good as what found on smartphones but it will be the pricing that will play an important role. Dual core tabs like Wammy Desire and Wammy Athena are already available in India so let’s see what this “Made in India” tab can do and if it can bring down the price to a more affordable level while maintaining the features as mentioned. I doubt if it’s really made in India or Assembled in India.
