Today iQOO launched the Neo 6 in India, a powerful Neo series smartphone powered by snapdragon 870 5G chipset, E4 Amoled display with HDR 10+ certification and host of other cool features. The iQOO Neo 6 is priced at Rs. 29,999 for 8GB+128GB version and Rs. 33,999 for 12Gb + 256GB version.

A new trend has started, brands are now disclosing the number of years of updates / security updates the phone will get. This new iQOO handset will get 2 years of Android and 3 years of monthly security updates. It is a good thing, but brands need to be careful as a bad update can divert a lot of customers to the service centre.

iQOO Neo 6 Specs

This smartphone is running Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 with 8GB/128GB or 12GB/256GB options. Plastic body with weight of around 190 grams. Available in Dark Nova and Cyber Rage color options, thickness is 8.54mm.

Display quality is premium level, it’s a E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness. I have done review of many phones with around 1000+ nits brightness and they look great / usable even in direct sunlight.

The display is HDR 10+ certified, also comes with SGS eye care feature. If you love watching movies then you will surely binge watch, plus dual stereo speakers will enhance the audio experience. Again depends if you watch content with audio on speaker or in general use built in speaker most of the time compared with earphones / headphones.

iQOO Neo 6 features a 64MP OIS main camera with a f/1.8 aperture and 8MP wide angle and 2MP macro, triple cameras on the rear and front camera is 16MP. Usually the camera quality of iQOO is generally above average to excellent category..

Now when it comes to battery it is 4700 mAh, which is good enough as 5000 mAh has become a standard but with proper optimisation and based on your usage you should get an easy one day to one and a half day of battery life.

If you think battery may not be enough, hold on 80W charging is supported, and as per the brand this 80W flash charge technology can charge this handset to 50% in about 12 minutes.
