Infinix has launched a new handset in the Indian markets the Infinix Smart 2, this handset will be competing with the Redmi 5A. Smart 2 price is Rs. 5,999 for 2GB/16GB variant and Rs. 6,999 for 3GB/32GB variant.

You will be able to buy this handset from Flipkart from 10th August. I have done the Infinix Smart 2 Unboxing you can check the video listed below. This handset comes with 2x SIM + 1x micro SD slot – you can use 2 SIM and a micro SD card together, plus Smart 2 supports Dual VoLTE a feature that is hard to find in this price segment.

Inside the hood it is using MediaTek MT6739 quad core processor. Screen is 5.45 inches with 18:9 aspect ratio with HD+ resolution. Android Oreo runs out of the box. On the back there is 13MP camera and on the front there is 8MP camera.

There is no finger print sensor but face unlock option has been provided.  Other features are 4G, VoLTE, Dual VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There are 3 sensors – accelerometer, proximity and light.

The handset does look good, and packed with cool features considering the price. The 18:9 aspect ratio and the dual VoLTE support is key highlight.
