After announcing the Kirin 970 10nm SoC at the IFA 2017, Huawei mentioned that they will launch the Huawei Mate 10 and the Huawei Mate 10 Pro in October and these devices will be using the same Huawei Kirin 970 SoC.

Though Huawei Mate 10 / Pro full specifications have not yet been disclosed, some features were confirmed by CEO Richard Yu. The Mate 10 will come with full screen display, and yes using Kirin 970 octa core chipset. This device will also be using dual cameras on the back – using Leica Lenses.

The unique thing about Kirin 970 SoC is it comes with  dedicated NPU for enhanced performance, dual ISP for better camera performance i.e. low light / motion detection and supports 4 hybrid focus. The Huawei Mate 10 will be interesting with full screen display, probably almost bezel less design.
