Huawei’s official website now shows off the newly listed Huawei Ascend Y600 smartphone. This seems like a budget friendly phone that runs on Android 4.2 over a 5 inch screen. The Ascend Y600 is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek’s dual core processor.
Though the Ascend Y600 price details are not mentioned, looking at the specifications the handset will fall in the low budget category. Inside the hoot the Y600 houses MT6572 dual core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz.
The Y600 will be available in black and white color options. It is 10.8mm thick and weight with battery is around 180 grams. The capacitive 5 point multi-touch touchscreen supports 854 x 480 pixels resolution.
There is onboard 4GB ROM and 512MB RAM. The microSD card slot supports 32GB external cards. This handset also comes with a 5MP rear camera and a front camera of VGA resolution. Battery is 2100 mAh capacity.
Huawei Ascend Y600 supports 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset will hit the store soon. No word about the official price or the availability dates in India.
