HTC U11+ with Quad HD+ screen launched, price in India is Rs. 56,990

A new handset from the HTC brand is listed on Flipkart, presenting the HTC U11+ a Snapdragon 835 octa core powered handset running Android Oreo and featuring a 6 inch screen with Quad HD+ resolution (18:9 aspect ratio).

HTC U11+ (upgraded version of HTC U11) is listed on Flipkart available in Amazing Silver and Sapphire Blue color options for Rs. 56,990. Though this handset falls in the premium category it comes with a single camera on the rear and a single camera on the front.

HTC U11+ specifications

This is a dual SIM handset using the well known Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa core processor clocked at 2.45GHz. Android Oreo 8.0 runs out of the box with 6GB of onboard RAM and 128GB of onboard internal storage space. Users can also use micro SD card of up to 2TB.

The HTC U11+ is using a Super LCD 6 screen of size 6 inches with Quad HD+ resolution i.e. 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution with 18:9 wide screen, DCI-P3 and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Handset weight is 190 grams.

Coming to the camera part the U11+ comes with a 12MP camera packed on the rear (f/1.7 aperture, can shoot 4K, 3D audio recording, OIS, UltraSpeed Auto Focus) with dual LED flash support. The front facing camera is a 8MP shooter (f/2.0 aperture, HDR+, can record FHD videos, Auto Selfie capture mode, Voice capture).

Other features are 4G, with VoLTE support, GPS, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi and NFC. HTC U11+ is packed with the following sensors Edge Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor.

Another unique thing about the U11+ is its water proof, IP68 certified and comes with Dual Speaker with BoomSound, HTC USonic.  There is a 3930 mAh non-removable battery with quick charge 3.0 support.
