HTC U Play was launched for Rs. 40K (Rs. 39,990) and now it got a Rs. 10K price cut, so as of now the U Play is selling in India for Rs. 29,990. This is MediaTek P10 powered handset that comes packed with 16MP primary as well as secondary camera.

Taking about the hardware the HTC U Play sails on Marshmallow and sports a 5.2 inch super LCD screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, this screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protections.

Inside the hood there is the MediaTek Helio P10 64 bit octa core processor coupled with Mali T860 GPU. There is a good amount of RAM – 4GB and ROM – 64GB. Plus up to 2TB external micro SD card support.

HTC U Play price dropped

The camera on the back is a 16MP shooter with dual tone LED flash support and front camera is also a 16MP shooter (UltraPixel). Both front as well as rear cameras come with f/2.0 aperture. Handset is 7.9mm thick and weight with battery is 145 grams.

Other features are 4G, NFC, WiFi, USB Type C, GPS and Bluetooth. There is finger print sensor too. A 2500 mAh battery powers this smartphone, fast charging is supported.
